Scarily AcurateI read through most of the other Royals of Monterra books, and still didn't think I would be interested in this one. I didn't want to read about Kat's insecurities. Then I read Rebecca Connelly's other books, An Arrangement of Sorts, and Married to a Marquess. If you enjoy regency romances, go read them. Now! When I finished those, I realized that Rebecca Connelly had written this, and I was finally ready to give it a try.I loved it!1. I would think that it would be hard to write and stay true to someone else's characters. Rebecca Connelly made it look easy. I felt like Sariah Wilson was writing it, because the characters and their reactions were spot on for Kat, Nicco, Lemon, and Dante.2. The descriptions of pregnancy, the impatience for delivery, and the pain of labor were scarily accurate. I am glad that I did not think to look on Pinterest when I had my baby last year. Who knows what lengths I would have gone to to induce labor. I loved Kat, I understood Kat, I felt like I was going through everything with her, yet strangely would be willing to go through it all again for the sweet baby at the end.3. While I was expecting a book about pregnancy angst, there were plenty of sweet moments, and a whole lot of humor. For fans of the series, this is a great continuation of the story, and I'd highly recommend it. My other favorite Royals of Monterra additions are: Tailor Made, Royal Quest, and The Forgotten Princess.Content: clean (some kissing, and details about pregnancy and labor that might not be suitable for a young audience)

5 STARSThis is my favorite story in the The Royals of Monterra kindleworld so far. It seems like it could have been written by Sariah Wilson. The characters have same feel to them.It is funny caring, snarky and tender as we see Kat go through her pregnancy. She is Queen Kat now. The world is watching her. The King is willing to do anything for her.I would like to read more books by Rebecca Connolly.

This was cute funny novella about being pregnant and also a queen in a country she didn't grow up in. Sooo many truths about pregnancy and all the silly and not so silly things that come with it. Well written and a great read!

Good to add to collection. Maybe too much whining about pregnancy though. Nice to meet the royal babies.

Bad grammar in good story. The editors should be spanked for allowing grammatical errors like "...and I" instead of "....and me.". This is found repeatedly in this book and in the previous story.

Sweet romanceI loved how clean and fun this author is. This story describes pregnancy in grim detail, and so accurately, it was funny. Great editing and wonderful writing.

A bit disappointed I have read two other Rebecca Connolly books and loved them, couldn't put them down. This one not so much. I loved, An arrangement of Sorts and Married to the Marquess. In this one all Kat did was complain about being pregnant, REALLY?? I wanted to slap her and tell her how lucky she was to be able to be pregnant. Maybe it hit a bit too close to home, I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure no one spends nine months feeling horrible and complaining.

I enjoyed this one best because it included so many of the thoughts, feelings and struggles I've had the last couple weeks of my pregnancy. I was pretty impressed with how accurate her portrayal of pregnancy was without going overboard. It was a good read right before I went into labor. :)
